Free Frozen Yogurt Treat at Golden Spoon from Standard Chartered Credit Card

Cardholders may redeem one small-sized frozen yogurt of any flavor with one regular topping from any Golden Spoon branch in the Philippines. To avail of the Promo, Cardholders must make a minimum single-receipt straight retail transaction of at least Php2,000 using their Standard Chartered Bank credit card during the Promo Period.

Promo Mechanics

1. Standard Chartered Bank’s Instant Rewards at Golden Spoon promo ("Promo") is open to all credit cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose credit cards have been locally issued by Standard Chartered Bank Philippines (“Bank”).
2. Promo Period is from April 15 to June 15, 2011. Redemption Period begins on April 15 until August 15, 2011.
3. Cardholders may redeem one (1) small-sized frozen yogurt of any flavor with one (1) regular topping (“Item”) from any Golden Spoon branch in the Philippines (each, a “Participating Branch”). To avail of the Promo, Cardholders must make a minimum single-receipt straight retail transaction* of at least Php2,000 using their Standard Chartered Bank credit card (“Card”) during the Promo Period.

Regardless of the transaction amount, one (1) charge slip is valid for one (1) redemption only.
*A single-receipt transaction is a transaction covered by a single Official Receipt/sales invoice and a single credit card charge slip. Only straight retail transactions made in the Philippines and transacted in Philippine pesos are included in this Promo. Charge slips reflecting foreign currency transactions (including Duty Free Philippines transactions in US dollars), even if billed in Philippine Pesos, are excluded from the Promo. Transactions with no Point-of-Sale (POS) machine credit card charge slip such as, but not limited to, EZ Bills auto charge, Balance Transfer, Smart Cash, Cash Advance, Internet/Online, Mail Order/Telephone Order transactions, etc. are excluded from this Promo. Non-straight and non-retail transactions such as, but not limited to, EZ Pay Installment, fees and charges, etc. are likewise excluded from this Promo.
4. To redeem the Item, the Cardholder must surrender the valid original credit card charge slip (bearing a transaction date that is within the Promo Period) and present his/her Card which was used for the qualifying transaction, to any Participating Branch within the Redemption Period. Upon redemption, the Card will be validated against the credit card charge slip.
5. Only one (1) charge slip issued by a particular establishment on a given day can be used by the Cardholder to redeem the Item. Thus, if two (2) or more charge slips are issued by the same establishment on the same day, the Cardholder can only use one (1) charge slip to redeem the Item while the remaining charge slips will no longer be honored for purposes of the Promo. The cost of the Items redeemed through the use of the remaining charge slips shall be charged to the Cardholder’s Card.
6. Only original charge slips marked “Customer’s Copy” are valid for redemption. Charge slips marked “Duplicate Copy”, “Bank Copy”, “Merchant Copy” or “Void” are excluded from the Promo. Cardholders cannot make redemptions using only their credit card Statements of Account (SOA), Official Receipts or sales invoices, in lieu of the original Customer’s Copy credit card charge slips. Faded or illegible charge slips will likewise not be honored.
7. The Cardholder may designate a representative to redeem the Item. However, the representative must be able to surrender the valid original charge slip and present the Cardholder’s Card.
8. The Bank and the Participating Branch shall not be obliged to recognize, honor, replace or reissue any misplaced, lost, faded, altered or stolen charge slips.
9. Splitting of a single transaction for the purpose of generating multiple charge slips shall not be allowed. A single transaction is a transaction covered by a single Official Receipt or sales invoice. Redemptions from split transactions are prohibited and shall be considered fraudulent by the Bank. Redemptions using fraudulently duplicated, altered or tampered charge slips, whether for the purpose of generating multiple charge slips, reflecting a higher transaction amount or otherwise, are also prohibited. The cost of the Items redeemed through split transactions or fraudulently duplicated, altered or tampered charge slips shall be charged to the Cardholder’s Card.
10. Cardholders or his/her representative cannot make more than three (3) redemptions at a particular Participating Branch per day. The cost of the Items redeemed in excess of three (3) shall be charged to the Cardholder’s Card.
11. The Cardholder agrees that should he/she cancel the qualifying transaction at a later date or should his/her redemption be found to be unauthorized, improper, fraudulent and/or in violation of these Promo mechanics, the Bank reserves the right to charge the cost of the Item to the Cardholder’s Card.
12. Any dispute concerning the services or products of the Participating Branches shall be settled directly between the Cardholder and the Participating Branches.
13. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to this Promo, including any dispute or question in respect of the Cardholder’s eligibility, transaction, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc. shall be final and binding on all Cardholders with the concurrence of DTI.
